How we earn money
Adriana Travels is free for you. Here's an honest account of how we still earn money, and how the order of villas is decided.

A fee from our partner
We earn money through a fee from our partners. If you click through from a villa to the partner and book there, that partner pays us a fee: a percentage of the booking. This is called affiliate marketing.
You pay nothing extra
The partner pays the fee, not you. You pay the same price as when you book directly with the partner.
How the partner knows you came through us
The link to the partner contains a code. That way the partner sees that you came through Adriana Travels. Cookies that keep track of this on our site only load if you give permission. See cookies and privacy.
If you book with the partner, they can see through the link, or through a cookie on their own website, that you came through us. That's how the partner knows who to pay the fee to. The cookies we use ourselves are listed on our cookie page.
How the order is decided
The fee we receive from a partner currently has no influence on the order.
- With Adriana: Adriana orders villas by how well they fit what you ask for, such as the region, your dates, the number of people, amenities and your budget. The best match comes first. Adriana chooses only on the basis of what you're looking for and knows nothing about fees.
- On the homepage and in overviews: there we choose ourselves which villas we show and in which order.
- Paid placements: we don't have any. If they ever come, you'll recognise them by the label "Sponsored".
Villas without a partner
Some villas say "Bookable soon through our partner". You can't book those yet, so we don't earn anything from them either.
