What are cookies?

A cookie is a small file that a website places in your browser. A website can also store data in your browser's storage (such as sessionStorage). The same rules apply to both: anything that isn't really needed is only allowed with your permission.

Necessary

Without these the site doesn't work properly. We don't ask permission for them.

Statistics

We count how many people visit the site, which pages they view and whether they click through to a partner. For this we use Vercel Web Analytics, without cookies and without storing anything in your browser. Your IP address isn't stored; we only see anonymised numbers. More about this in the privacy policy.

Marketing

None yet. If cookies come that keep track of you booking with a partner through us, it will only be with your permission, and you'll see them here.

What we don't use

Our font and photos come from our own website. So your browser doesn't connect to Google, for example, to load them.

Changing your choice

Click "Cookie settings" at the bottom of any page, or use the button below. You can switch statistics and marketing on and off there, as often as you like.

Your current choice: You haven't made a choice yet.

Deleting cookies in your browser

You can also clear cookies and stored data yourself. We'll then ask for your cookie choice again.

  • Chrome: Settings, then Privacy and security, then Delete browsing data.
  • Safari on Mac: Settings, then Privacy, then Manage Website Data.
  • Safari on iPhone or iPad: Settings, then Safari, then Clear History and Website Data.
  • Firefox: Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Cookies and Site Data.

Partner cookies

If you click through to a partner to book, you're on their website. The cookies the partner places there fall under the partner's cookie and privacy policy, not ours.

Call with a villa expert

If you book a call, our server arranges it with Cal.com, our scheduling service. Cal.com doesn't place cookies on our site for this. If you later open the video link or the link to reschedule or cancel, you're on Cal.com's website and their cookie and privacy policy applies. What data Cal.com receives from you is explained in our privacy policy.

Logging in with Google

If you choose Google when logging in, you briefly go to the Google login page. The cookies and privacy policy of Google apply there. No cookies are placed on our own site for this.

Dictation

If you use the microphone button in Chrome, Chrome sends your voice to Google to turn it into text. In Safari, Apple does this. We only receive the text that appears in the input field, and only if you send it.

More about your privacy

What else happens with your data, for example your questions to Adriana and your IP address, is explained in our privacy policy.
